Audiologist
Dr. William D. Andreassen received his Doctorate in Audiology with honors from Nova Southeastern University in 2008 and has spent the majority of his career working with otolaryngologists (ENTs). He has presented at state and national levels on audiology topics, both in the clinical and research areas, taught undergraduate classes in audiology and participated in research studies at Florida Atlantic University, and was involved with community education programs on diagnosis and rehabilitation of hearing loss, tinnitus, and vestibular disorders. He has served as a preceptor and clinical supervisor of university students of Doctor of Audiology programs for various universities across the United States.
Dr. Andreassen’s areas of expertise include diagnostic test batteries, selection and fitting of amplification (hearing aids), tinnitus assessment and management, hearing conservation, and assistive listening devices.
