Dr. Guillermo Maza is a fellowship-trained Otolaryngologist with advanced expertise in rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery. At South Florida ENT Associates, he offers comprehensive care for patients with sinus, nasal, and skull base conditions, combining clinical precision with a deeply personalized approach.

Originally from Venezuela, Dr. Maza earned his medical degree at the Central University of Venezuela, where he also completed his initial residency in Otolaryngology. He later joined The Ohio State University as a postdoctoral research fellow, contributing to nationally recognized studies in rhinology and skull base surgery. He completed a second residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Southern Illinois University and went on to complete advanced fellowship training at the Mount Sinai Health System in New York.

Dr. Maza has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters on topics ranging from robotic surgery and sinus disease to endoscopic skull base reconstruction and computational fluid dynamics. He is an active member of multiple professional societies and is committed to evidence-based, compassionate care that improves his patients’ quality of life.
