What Is the Balloon Sinuplasty Procedure Like?

During your treatment, you will be resting in a reclining examination chair. We will administer IV sedation and topical anesthetics to make the experience relaxing and pain-free. We will insert a tiny catheter into your nostril and guide a small balloon into the blocked part of your sinuses. Once the balloon is in the correct location, we will inflate it, opening the blocked area. We will flush the area with saline and deflate and remove the balloon.
