
Juliana Schlaen
Speech Pathology
Juliana Schlaen, M.S., CCC-SLP is a bilingual (English/Spanish/Portuguese) speech-language pathologist specializing in voice and swallowing disorders. She earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the Medical University of South Carolina. During her time at a Level I trauma hospital, she treated medically complex patients across acute and critical care settings. Her experience includes managing dysphagia, working with tracheostomy patients, and supporting individuals with head and neck cancer (including post-laryngectomy voice rehabilitation), as well as patients recovering from cardiac surgery, stroke, and traumatic brain injury.
Fluent in Spanish, Juliana serves South Florida connecting with patients through personalized, empathetic care. Her mission is to help patients regain their voice and swallowing function while feeling confident and comfortable in their everyday lives.
