Dr. Villasuso's journey towards becoming a Neurotologist and Physician Leader began in high school, where he sowed the seeds of purpose. His deep desire to forge meaningful connections and help others was first ignited while leading ‘Encounters Toward Christ’ retreats and further cemented by a transformative encounter with an orthopedic surgeon in his formative years. Dr. Villasuso has dedicated 18 years to the medical profession and embraces his role as more than just a doctor – it is a vocation in which he thrives as an educator, mentor, and healer.
In his medical practice, Dr. Villasuso finds joy in educating patients, offering encouragement through treatments, and ensuring a sense of safety during surgical interventions. Committed to being a guiding force in the intricacies of modern medicine, he believes success is rooted in innovative approaches, genuine care, and consistently doing what is right. His philosophy treats everyone like family, building genuine connections as the foundation for positive outcomes, complemented by a touch of humor.
Serving the South Florida community for the last 19 years at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Villasuso prioritizes world-class care and technological advancements. His passion for bringing technology to enhance patient care is unrivaled, evident in implementing one of the best electronic health records in the country. With a Sub-Specialty Certification in Neurotology from the Michigan Ear Institute, one of the world's busiest practices, Dr. Villasuso has contributed to peer-reviewed publications. Beyond his professional endeavors, he cherishes time with his wife of 25+ years, traveling and supporting their sons in their sporting events and special moments.
